Danielle Moinet

Danielle Louise Moinet better known as Summer Rae was born on 28th November 1983 in Manhasset, New York but grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a professional wrestler, actress, model and former American football player.


She was a main cast member on Total Divas in seasons 2 and 3 but is best known her time in WWE. Before she joined WWE she played with Chicago Bliss of the Lingerie Football League from 2008 until 2011 as a quarterback and was also the team captain. She played her final game for the team in the LFL All-Stars game on 30th June 2011 at the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.


She was reported to have signed for WWE in November 2011 and was assigned to their development territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). She made her debut on the 18th December episode of FCW TV  and she was also the ring announcer for FCW TV for several months. After changing her ring name to Summer Rae she was prevented from interfering in a match between Seth Rollins and her new client Brad Maddox by the debuting Paige on the 5th March episode of FCW TV and then she became the FCW General Manager on the 11th March episode.


After the dissolution of FCW she went on to be a ring announcer for the rebooted NXT in 2012 and then transitioned into an in-ring competitor in 2013. Summer made her official WWE debut on the 22nd April 2013 episode of RAW. On 6th April 2014 she made her WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania XXX.


She was officially released from her WWE contract in October 2017 and 7 months later she made her debut on the independent circuit in a Battle Championship event on the 25th May 2018.


Summer has appeared in 5 WWE video games. Her in game debut was in WWE 2K14 as a DLC (Downloadable Content) and she then appeared in WWE 2K15, WWE 2K16, WWE 2K17 and WWE 2K18. She also stared in the 2015 film “The Marine 4: Moving Target”.
