Kevin Nash

Kevin Scott Nash was born on 9th July 1959 in Detroit, Michigan and is an actor and professional wrestler who is currently signed to WWE under the Legends Programme and is the current Big Time Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Kevin has wrestled under a few different ring names but is best known for his work under his real name in WCW and TNA. He also had success in WWF (now WWE) where he was originally billed as Diesel.

In 1994 as Diesel he won all 3 titles of the WWF Triple Crown and at the Slammy Awards that year he won the MVP (now Superstar of the

Year) and Best Tag Team (now Tag Team of the Year) alongside Shawn Michaels. Kevin has won a total of 21 championships between WWE, WCW and TNA including being a five-time World Champion (4 times in WCW and 1 time in WWF) and a 12 time World Tag Team Champion between the promotions.
His 358-day WWF championship reign is the longest of the 90’s. He was a member of The Kliq which was an influential backstage group which included Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, Triple H and Sean Waltman.

He is also part of the tag team known as “The Outsiders” which he formed with Scott Hall as well as being 1 of the 3 founding members of the New World Order (nWo) along with Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan with fellow For The Love Of Wrestling guest Eric Bischoff being their manager.

"The Outsiders" were formed in 1996 when Hall and Kevin Nash returned to WCW after leaving the WWF. In the storyline, Hall, at the time appearing as Razor Ramon, led an invasion, appearing on WCW programming and insinuating that he was doing so under orders from his WWF employers and warning that he would soon be joined by others. He was joined by former WWF World Heavyweight Champion  Nash, then best known as Diesel, two weeks later. A lawsuit from the WWF caused Eric Bischoff to ask The Outsiders point-blank if they worked for the WWF, which both emphatically denied. Their angle was the precursor to the villainous turn of Hulk Hogan and the formation of the New World Order (nWo), a major wrestling storyline that dominated WCW programming for several years afterwards and which Hall and Nash were both a large part of.

Kevin was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015 on 28th March 2015, he was inducted by long-time friend and Kliq member, Shawn Michaels.

As well as being a successful wrestler, Kevin has had acting roles in films including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, The Punisher, The Longest Yard, Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL.
